We’re back with Part 2 of the Better Together Virtual Walk series on Saturday, July 25th from 9:45am – 11:00am!
Presented by UBS Financial Services Inc., Part 2 is all about the power of inclusion Special Olympics Colorado (SOCO) creates through programs you may not know much about. We’re keeping the details a surprise until we get closer to the event BUT, here are some hints to get you excited:
Does Special Olympics Colorado have programs for school-aged children with intellectual disabilities? Can children without an intellectual disability get involved?
What is the largest, grassroots organization of volunteers that raises over $1 million for Special Olympics Colorado each year and gives athletes their medals at competitions?
How does Special Olympics Colorado prepare athletes for success beyond sports?
Registrants will enjoy a 60-minute virtual “walk” featuring:
- Facebook Live
- A playlist with upbeat music hand-picked by athletes
- Inspiring messages from athletes, partners, families & other special guests
- Prizes given during Opening Ceremony and every 10 minutes on the playlist
Funds raised support the nearly 18,000 athletes and unified partners we serve!
9:45 a.m.: Virtual Opening Ceremony & Grand Prize Drawing via Facebook Live
*Must attend Opening Ceremony to be eligible to win the grand prize

*Audio file will be sent in advance and will include upbeat music, inspiring messages from athletes and other special guests and prizes given every 10 minutes.
*If you can’t join us live, you can still participate on your own time with the downloadable file after the event and are eligible to win prizes (must attend Opening Ceremony to qualify for Grand Prize!
