Navigating Special Needs Financial Challenges and Trusts

March 11 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Partnership with UBS Financial

The average lifetime cost of caring for a person with a disability is approximately $1 million—roughly four times the amount it takes to raise a “typical” child from birth to age 18.

Providing special care can feel all-consuming, whether it’s finding the right doctors or getting help with day-to-day household needs. Amid all this is a need often overlooked which is finding a way to pay for your child’s care and resources.

Special Olympics CO has partnered with UBS Financial to gather a team of nationally recognized leaders within special needs planning to educate parents on the financial and emotional complexities of raising a child with special needs. Come listen and connect with the speakers who have experienced this first hand as one of our presenters is a parent of a child with a disability. You will hear from the speakers listed below on how to gain a better understanding of financial planning with an end goal of gaining confidence and education for your family’s financial future.
