Resilience Week Schedule

  • 10:00 AM – Weekly Focus: This week will focus on how we can manage life’s ups and downs be more resilient in challenging times.

  • 2:00 PM – Activity: Go for a walk and notice how this can clear your head and give you a positive outlook.
  • 5:00 PM – Journal prompt: Reflect on your walk today. How did you feel after? Did your head feel more clear? Did you have a more positive outlook for the remainder of the day?
  • 10:00 AM – Learning Corner: Conflict resolution and positive communication.

  • 2:00 PM, Interactive via Zoom  Activity: Practicing resilience
  • 5:00 PM – Journal prompt: Write about something positive that came out of a challenging situation.
  • 6:00 PM – Trivia with the Youth Activation Committee (YAC)
  • 10:00 AM – Look around: Notice five things that are beautiful in the world around you.
  • 2:00 PM –  Activity: Go for a walk and notice how this can clear your head and give you a positive outlook.
  • 5:00 PM – Journal prompt: Reflect on your walk today. How did you feel after? Did your head feel more clear? Did you have a more positive outlook for the remainder of the day?

  • 5:00 PM – Journal Prompt: Reflect on the poetry you wrote today if you joined us for our live session at 2:00 PM. What does it mean to you? If you were unable to join us at 2:00 PM, write some poetry and then reflect on it.
  • 10:00 AM – Advocate for yourself: Ask for help when you need it. Remember you are not alone and we all need support!
  • 2:00 PM – Activity: Go for a walk and notice how this can clear your head and give you a positive outlook.

  • 2:00 PM – Activity: Set additional goals for accomplishing the things you are looking forward to using the goal attainment format.
  • 5:00 PM – Journal prompt: What went well? Reflect on the good things that you have learned over the last 6 weeks.
