Summit County Law Enforcement Torch Run

Join Summit County and local law enforcement to help raise money for Special Olympics!

Meet at 8:30am

9:00am  I  Bicycle Ride begins*

The 15-mile event is open to bicyclists and runners/walkers. Bicyclists will begin at the Riverwalk Center parking lot in Breckenridge. We will finish at Silverthorne’s Rainbow Park lot located at the back (east side) of the park. Click to view the Torch Run Route

*Torch Run Disclaimer: Runners and walkers can choose any part of the course, but will need to arrange their own sag wagons and shall arrive at the finish no later than noon if you want food and drinks at Rainbow Park in Silverthorne. This ride/run/walk will be at your own risk. We will utilize the Summit County bicycle trail system from Breckenridge to Silverthorne. Participants shall utilize the right side of the paths, look both ways at intersections, wear helmets, move off the trail if stopped, wait for traffic lights, and refrain from texting/placing Facebook posts while bombing down the hills. This event is one-way so a shuttle will need to be prearranged by the participants.
