Jack Noble

Athlete of the Month

Jack Noble is a proud Special Olympics Colorado athlete who has been competing for 4 years. His primary sport is swimming, which he describes as “his thing to do.”

Recently, Jack represented Team Colorado in swimming at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota. He was proud to represent his state and said that it made him happy and boosted his confidence. He swam the 500-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle and the 50-yard backstroke, where he earned a silver medal, 4th place, and bronze medal, respectively. Throughout his time at USA Games, Jack enjoyed getting to meet and compete alongside athletes from different states and said he felt really accomplished after competing.

When he’s not in the pool, Jack loves building Legos, playing video games, and cooking, with quesadillas being his favorite dish to make. He also loves exploring new places, especially while he was in Minnesota during USA Games.

We are so proud of Jack’s accomplishments and are excited to recognize him as the July Athlete of the Month!

The Clifford Family

Family of the Month

The Clifford family first got involved with Special Olympics Colorado about 5 years ago through Coach Jeremy Dorr. Noah began playing for Jeremy on his lacrosse team 13 years ago. From there, Noah got involved in the Unified program at his high school, which is where they were introduced to Special Olympics.

One of the Clifford family’s favorite memories with Special Olympics Colorado is Noah being selected to participate in the USA Games last month and winning gold with his Unified Flag Football team while representing Colorado. The family also loves to watch the athletes grow and progress. Shawn, Noah’s dad, also helps out with the Beastmode powerlifting team. “Seeing the kids grow from the first day of practice all the way to the state tournament is the most enjoyable,” he explained.

The Cliffords also love the community that has grown around them. Noah has participated in sports since he was 6 years old and is a very active person who always strives to do his best in everything he does. “Special Olympics has given Noah confidence and a growing family,” said Shawn.

We are excited to recognize the Clifford family as our July Family of the Month. Congratulations!
