  5. September 18: at 7:00 PM, watch the Champions Highlight Show – Summer Season featuring a recap of our amazing summer season.

Who can compete?

Teams that have been practicing this summer are eligible to compete.  Coaches must submit entry forms for their sport being competed in.  Please scroll up on this page to find entry forms by sport.

Who am I competing against?

If you are competing in Inter-Squad Scrimmages then you are competing against your teammates!  When you submit an entry form for your team for the 2020 Virtual State Summer Classic you are competing against all registered athletes from around the State!

What paperwork is necessary for us to compete?

All athletes must have an updated medical form on file and coaches/Unified partners must have an updated Class A registration.  New athletes need to have an athlete application filled out as well.

ALL participants MUST have a “Covid-19 Participant Risk Form and Code of Conduct” as well as “Sign-In Sheets” from every practice to be eligible to participate in 2020 Virtual State Summer turned into your Regional Manager.

Entry forms are required to officially enter into the 2020 Virtual State Summer Classic; they can be submitted to Susan Foege (sf@specialolympicsco.org) no later than September 11th

Please complete the entry forms and submit them to Susan Foege, Director of Competition (sf@specialolympicsco.org) by September 11.  Medal winners and celebrations will occur the week of September 14 with a culminating celebration on September 19.

What if our season ends early, can we still submit entry forms?

YES!  No matter when you end your summer season, you can submit entry forms at any time from now until September 11!  That way everyone is competing against everyone in the State.

Will I get an award?

If you compete in the 2020 Virtual State Summer Classic then you receive an award!  You can setup an appointment with your Regional Manager to either pickup your awards from the State/regional office or schedule to have an awards presentation at the State/regional office.  We can also mail awards to participants or by team if that is preferred.
