Dear Polar Plungers,

I just wanted to say thank you for your courage and support to Special Olympics Colorado. Your actions of jumping in the fridged water for the Polar Plunge have never gone unnoticed. Your bravery and commitment are inspiring. Your support for Special Olympics Colorado makes it possible for my fellow athletes and myself to compete in many different sports.

But it is much more than that! Your bravery in doing something that might seem difficult teaches us to be brave like you, to try new things that might be difficult for us and that we can be successful. Your commitment to plunging year after year shows us to keep trying and not give up no matter what we are trying to achieve.

I feel most proud that your kindness to plunge for Special Olympics changes so many lives. I have been a Special Olympics athlete for 45 years and Special Olympics is the reason my life has been so amazing. I just want you to know that you are a huge reason my life is great.

Thank you for supporting Special Olympics Colorado and helping to change the lives of my fellow athletes and myself.
