Athlete of the Month

Ashley has been a proud Special Olympics athlete for about 15 years, competing in both bowling and bocce. For her, Special Olympics is all about having fun, meeting new people, and enjoying the excitement of traveling for State Competitions.

Ashley has the exciting opportunity to attend USA Games next year in Minnesota, where she will be competing in bocce with Team Colorado. She is excited to attend USA Games and said that she was proud to be selected. “I hope to bring home the gold,” exclaimed Ashley.

When she’s not competing, Ashley stays busy by participating in a bowling league, spending time with her dogs, creating diamond art, and reading.

Ashley’s enthusiasm, dedication, and joyful spirit make her an incredible part of the Special Olympics community and we’re excited to recognize her as the December Athlete of the Month!
