This conference combines the Coaches Summit and Unified Champion Schools Conference, offering tailored sessions designed to elevate coaching expertise, enhance inclusive programming, and strengthen Special Olympics initiatives across Colorado.

How do I register for the conference?
You can secure your spot by clicking the REGISTER button above or on the main page starting April 20th
Is there a deadline to register?
Must Register by Friday, September 18th, 2026
Will meals be provided?
Lunch will be provided to all conference attendees both days
What should I bring to the conference?
Attendees should bring:

A notebook or electronic device for taking notes

Comfortable clothing suitable for interactive sessions or sports training

Any necessary materials specific to their coaching or school programs
What if I can only attend one day of the conference?
While we encourage full participation, attendees can choose to attend select sessions. However, registration fees remain the same.
Will there be virtual options for those who cannot attend in person?
Virtual options will not be available – but session material will be shared with attendees at the conference’s conclusion.
If I have registered but cannot attend the conference, can I receive a refund?
We understand that plans can change! If you need to cancel your registration for the 2026 SOCO State Conference, we’re happy to offer a full refund through August 15, 2025. After August 15, cancellations will be kindly considered a donation to Special Olympics Colorado.

What is included in my registration fee?
Registration includes access to all conference sessions, sports-specific training, networking opportunities, and the Coach Appreciation Night for coaches.
Can I use my Local Program funds towards the conference?
You can use your Local Program funds to cover hotel/lodging fees for the conference. Conference registration fees are not eligible to be covered by Local Program accounts. However, scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis. Contact your Regional Manager to learn more about scholarship options.
