Join us for the Special Olympics Colorado Statewide Conference, an exciting event that brings together Community coaches, educators, athletic directors, paraprofessionals, and school administrators for two days of dynamic training, networking, and professional development. This conference combines the Coaches Summit and Unified Champion Schools Conference, offering tailored sessions designed to elevate coaching expertise, enhance inclusive programming, and strengthen Special Olympics initiatives across Colorado.

The Special Olympics Colorado Statewide Conference is a combined event that merges the Coaches Summit and the Unified Champion Schools (UCS) Conference. It provides training, resources, and networking opportunities for coaches, educators, athletic directors, paraprofessionals, and school administrators.

Lunch will be provided to all conference attendees

What should I bring to the conference?

Attendees should bring:

• A notebook or electronic device for taking notes

• Comfortable clothing suitable for interactive sessions or sports training

• Any necessary materials specific to their coaching or school programs

What if I can only attend one day of the conference?

While we encourage full participation, attendees can choose to attend select sessions. However, registration fees remain the same.

Will there be virtual options for those who cannot attend in person?

Virtual options will not be available – but session material will be shared with attendees at the conferences conclusion.

If I have registered but cannot attend the conference, can I receive a refund?

We understand that unexpected conflicts can arise. Special Olympics Colorado will issue a full refund for the conference registration fee if the request is made by Friday, July 18, 2025. Attendees are responsible for canceling their own hotel reservations (if applicable) and must adhere to the hotel’s cancellation policy.

Will there be opportunities for networking?

Yes! Attendees will have opportunities to connect with fellow coaches, educators, and administrators throughout the conference. The Coach Appreciation Night on July 31 is specifically designed to celebrate and bring together coaches.
