Dr. Jay Albright, MD is the Surgical Director of Sports Medicine at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He was raised in Iowa City, Iowa. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, and his MD at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He specializes in the care of young athletes, from pre-adolescent to professional. Jay takes pride in avoiding surgery in most patients, despite being a surgeon. He is interested in all types of sports, from soccer and basketball to field hockey, volleyball, cheerleading, dance, and more. Jay and his wife Stacy have two children.
