Special Olympics Colorado Presents: ALL ABOARD!!! Train Pull Event!

Welcome to an extraordinary event in it’s second year in Durango, Colorado! If you’re new to the world of the Special Olympics or our unique fundraisers, prepare to be amazed.

What is the Durango Train Pull?  What is the Durango Train Pull? It is an incredible opportunity to form a team of 10 (friends, coworkers, family) and pull a diesel locomotive 15 feet along the track for the fastest time. Trophies and bragging rights will be awarded to the fastest team, the highest fundraising team, the highest fundraising Individual, and the team with the best costume.

Registration Details:

  • Challenge: Pull a train 15 feet with a team of 10.
  • Reward: Every participant will receive a limited-edition 2024 Durango Train Pull T-shirt to commemorate the event.
  • Fundraising Fun! Before taking on the challenge, each team must rally their spirits and resources to raise a minimum of $500. Embrace the fun in fundraising, because every dollar ensures you a spot in the pull and goes directly to supporting the training, competition, and development of over 20,000 Special Olympics Colorado athletes.

Funds raised from this event help provide free sports trainings, competitions, and leadership development for over 23,000 Special Olympics Colorado athletes!
