Health Promotion at State Flag Football
Colorado State University Intramural Gym (indoors)

Health Promotion, a discipline of Special Olympics Healthy Athletes®, focuses on healthy living, healthy lifestyle choices, and nation-specific health issues. In addition to health education activities, health Promotion offers screenings for bone density, blood pressure, and body mass index (BMI). Its goals include encouraging and enhancing healthy behaviors and improving self-efficacy and self-advocacy.

Athletes not competing can still attend! Please contact Director of Inclusive Health, Jena Twete at jtwete@specialolympicsco.org to reserve your spot.

Mouth Guard Clinic at State Flag Football

Time: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Bring your athletes by State Flag Football to get fitted for a new mouth guard by local dental and hygiene students. We will have adult and youth sizes. It takes approx. 5 minutes to be fitted.
