The Coaches Summit is an all-day event for Special Olympics Colorado coaches to develop their skills, collaborate, and receive sport-specific certification and non-sport-specific training in various topics related to coaching. Special Olympics Colorado community coaches and Unified Champion Schools coaches are invited to attend. For coach related questions, please reach out to Volunteer and Coach Development Manager, Denise Hulstrom at dhulstrom@specialolympicsco.org.
The Family Summit is a first-time event for Special Olympics Colorado parents, family members, and caregivers of our athletes. This event serves to provide resources from around the state as well as an opportunity to meet other families and learn about all programming that Special Olympics Colorado has to offer throughout your athlete’s lifetime. We look forward to providing educational sessions, lunch, and a resource fair. A childcare option through Young Athletes will be provided from 12:30-3:30 PM. For family related questions, please contact Athlete Leadership and Family Services Manager, Stephanie Lauchmen at slauchmen@specialolympicsco.org.
