Join us for the Tribute at the Capitol Torch Run!

Schedule:

10:00 AM: Park at the 4Runner lot South at Ball Arena – off Auraria Pkwy. You will take A shuttle from lot to Civic Center Park

10:30 AM: Shuttle will start

11:15 AM: Torch Lighting Ceremony at the steps of the State Capitol

11:50 AM: 2.5 mile run back to 4Runner lot South at Ball Arena

12:30 PM: BBQ and music at the 4Runner lot South at Ball Arena

About the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR)

LETR is Special Olympics’ largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle.  Law enforcement (the Guardians of the Flame) and athletes, light the “Flame of Hope” at events and competitions throughout the state to embody unity and inclusiveness.

Typically, during the months of May through October, law enforcement throughout Colorado carry the “Flame of Hope” during the Torch Run Series.

Support this cause to raise awareness and funds for individuals with intellectual disabilities in Colorado!
