Marianne’s connection to Special Olympics Colorado is her daughter, Anna Mercado. She has participated in Special Olympics Colorado on and off  in a variety of sports  since she was 8 years old. Marianne is a parent and a volunteer in the Special Olympics Colorado community. As a member of the Family Input Council, she hopes to help improve communication between the western slope and eastern range Special Olympics Colorado communities so that athletes statewide get the support they deserve.
