VP of Finance at Denver Broncos Football Club
Michael Kalousek has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and finance. He is responsible for all aspects of the finance department’s operations for the Denver Broncos.
He joined the Denver Broncos in 2014 as Manager of Financial Analysis to build out the Financial Planning & Analysis function. His expertise is in improving systems and performing deep financial analysis across multiple business lines.
Before joining the Denver Broncos, he started his career in auditing for GHP Horwath in Denver, a local public accounting firm (now Crowe). He earned his CPA during his seven years at GHP Horwath, where he performed audits locally and internationally, including living in New Zealand for six months.
Michael also serves on Metropolitan State University’s Accounting Advisory board to assist the department head in keeping curriculums current to evolving work environments. This board also assists the larger College of Business in evaluating current issues facing the school.
He earned his Bachelor of Science of Accounting from Metro State in 2007. Born and raised in Westminster, Colo., Kalousek is married and has two kids. In his spare time, he enjoys being outside in the yard, hiking and climbing.
