Special Olympics Colorado’s Introduction to Athlete Leadership course offers you a chance to start your journey as an athlete leader in your region. In the course you will learn about what athlete leadership means, what opportunities there are to continue, and learn ways to continue leading both on and off the field. Athlete Leadership University attendees will complete the first-year fitness captain training then decide if you want to pursue your second and third years. We recommend you bring your own mentor, a positive attitude, and be ready to learn!
