Special Olympics Colorado is holding a Denver Region Flag Football Tournament on Saturday, October 15 at the Lowry Sports Complex! Denver Health is providing free COVID-19 vaccines at the Denver Region Flag Football Tournament! The Bivalent Pfizer booster is now available, in addition to limited Monkeypox and flu shots.

No appointments necessary, walk-ups are welcome! Please bring your vaccine card or ID.

Special Smiles Health Screening and Mouth Guard Fitting Clinic

The Special Smiles health screening will be offered at the Denver Region Flag Football Tournament! The Special Smiles discipline of Healthy Athletes provides comprehensive oral health care information, including offering free dental screenings and instructions on correct brushing and flossing techniques to participating Special Olympics athletes.

In conjunction with the screening, Special Olympics Colorado will be holding a Mouth Guard Fitting Clinic that will provide athletes with properly fitted mouth guards for the Flag Football season. Questions?

Performance Stations are events held at, or near, the field of play at tournaments/competitions or Games that are designed to educate and activate athletes and their supporters in different aspects of fitness: nutrition, hydration and physical activity. These stations directly connect fitness to sport performance, and show how incorporating these aspects can enhance training, performance at competition, and health.
